Completed Terraform course assessment but no email or badge

Hello,

I have completed the “HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate Assessment” assessment but have not been issued a completion email or badge.

Have i missed something?

The Badge is achieved by completing all activities in the “HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate” Learning Path. You may have missed some other activities causing the badge to not issue.

Okay so just to understand. If i take the assessment and pass, i still have to go through all the learning material, even if ive already passed the assessment?

So Learning Zone isnt a place to get badges / certifications if you already are skilled in the technology? Just for people who want to learn something new?

Seems like a waste of time.

Hi Matt,

Yes, that is correct. The badge is to represent the learning has been complete through the material provided resulting in you being able to self-check your knowledge in preparation for the official certification through the appropriate vendor, in this case HashiCorp.

The badge is an optional addition should you wish to show your proficiency in completing the Learning Path activities.
